We're Still Standing

In July of 1983, Elton John & Bernie Taupin wrote the song “I’m still standing”. It was a hit then and more recently gained more attention with the hit movie Rockstar. At the time this song was released, Crawford Homes was only a few years old. Founded by Al Bashutski, his vision was to be the best and most affordable home builder in Regina. Since that time, Crawford has built over 5,000 homes and achieved numerous awards from the Regina Home Builders Association. Building that many homes, receiving numerous awards and receiving countless accolades from clients, one could say that Al’s vision for Crawford has come to reality.

Reflecting over the past 40 years, we have seen numerous companies in the industry come and go. During the good times, many companies that came to Regina were opportunistic driven, realizing that Regina was a place where quick money could be made in a short period of time. Many of these companies have either exited the Regina market or have shut their doors. An unfortunate consequence for them and for their existing customers. Meanwhile, we continued our vision of providing the best built affordable homes for all segments of the market, from entry-level to luxury homes.

Now that the housing boom comes to a close, we are reminded of the Elton John song. We want to let everyone know that “We’re Still Standing” stronger than ever. We also wanted to thank our customers over the years. It takes your decision and commitment to put your trust in us to achieve our vision at Crawford. So what does the future of Crawford Homes in Regina look like now? We’re looking forward to building another 5,000 homes here in Regina. We’ve continued the tradition of building quality homes at affordable prices for all segments of the market-place. We continue to innovate putting our knowledge and passion into having the best-designed homes. And always focused on our customer's experience from start to finish and beyond. Our President, Al Bashutski, continues to lead Crawford Homes with the same vision that he founded the company on 41 years ago.
