Diagnosis

Using a small dental instrument, we gently measure the space between the tooth and gums. A certain size of space can indicate periodontal disease. These can fall into three categories - gingivitis, periodontitis and advanced periodontists. Dr. Beug, will diagnosis your situation and provide the options available to you.
Exams & Cleanings
Dental ExamsA comprehensive dental exam will be performed by Dr. Beug at your initial dental visit. During regular check-up exams, Dr. Beug and your hygienist will provide the following to ensure that your dental health is thoroughly examined:● X-rays to detect tooth decay, tumours, cysts, and bone loss.  ● Oral cancer screening● Gum disease evaluation to determine any periodontal disease● Examination of tooth decay● Examination of existing restorations
Professional Dental CleaningProfessional dental cleanings are usually performed by our dental hygienists. Your cleaning appointment will include a dental exam and the following:● Removal of plaque● Removal of tartar● Teeth polishing● Fluoride treatment

Dr. Beug was born in Regina, later moving to a farm south of Raymore, where she grew up. When growing up she learned from her parents the value of giving back. Dr. Beug has practiced the value of giving back throughout her career. 
In the local community, after graduating from the University of Saskatchewan, she established a practice in Regina which now employs more than 10 professionals and staff. East End Dental often does free dentistry services for those less fortunate in the community. They have also done fundraisers benefiting groups like Soul's Harbour.
